Floor section wristband

Without this you don't get in, even if you have a ticket!
A chap at our pre-concert Happening, lost his but to his relief it was returned on the night.

My Ticket!!

It's mine all mine, process went off without a hitch.
Party to night then concert tomorrow!

Both Tickets

There's a lot of people who missed out on these, here's hoping that the concert is recorded for all the world to see and hear.

Queueing for tickets

They broke the queues up into alphabetical order thank Christ.
When we got there they were about half way to the entrance doors, by the time we left after enduring the Merchandise queue the queues for the tickets had not abated and were at the entrance doors, the timeframe was a good 2 hours.

Still queueing.

As I took this pic, Andy was in the queue for merchandise. he was about a third of the way to the counter and we were about double that heading towards the tickets when I took this. We got our tickets, wandered over to the merchandise queue. I rang Andy to find out where he got to and he was still in the merch. queue!!

More queueing.

A smile!!

Some would say that I had to go half way round the world to crack a smile but after seeing the previous pic (that reflects the cold weather and me concentrating on the camera) I decided to lighten up. That Parliament behind me.

Christ it's cold.

Or, how do you work this damn phone!!

Millenium Eye

This is a shot in the opposite direction to the one above.
I am standing on the footpath of the bridge (name escapes me ATT).
Will attempt to get a ride on it but will cross fingers and wait better weather to photograph the view.

Parliament House as seen from the bridge.

Big Ben.

The facade of Westminster Abbey

You are not allowed to take any pictures once inside, a shame really. So, I bought a thumping great coffe table book for 30 quid to make up for it, I figured that the photography in it would surpass mine. I only managed to get outside shots.
